Check out this stunning third-story balcony deck installation in El Cajon, CA. Our clients wanted a high-performance, low-maintenance deck that offered both beauty and function, right down to the details.

From Blueprint to Balcony

This third-story balcony deck in El Cajon, CA was a full-scope project—handled entirely from design to final build. Our team took care of everything, including structural plans, engineering, and permitting, to ensure a seamless experience for the homeowner. Elevated high above the ground, this space needed to be both beautiful and structurally sound, and we delivered on both fronts. The result is a luxurious, high-performance deck that adds value, comfort, and style to this stunning home.

Low-Maintenance, High Impact

For the deck surface, we used Trex composite decking in the bold “Spiced Rum” finish—offering the warmth of wood without the upkeep. Beneath it, we installed the Trex RainEscape system to create a completely dry space underneath the deck. This waterproofing solution protects the structure and adds functionality, making the lower level a perfect spot for storage or shaded relaxation.

Details That Elevate

Framed with sleek, powder-coated aluminum railings, this deck feels safe without sacrificing open views. One of the standout features is the cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling underneath the balcony—accented with built-in lighting and a ceiling fan for year-round comfort. It’s a polished, finished look that turns the underside of the deck into a usable and inviting outdoor retreat.
