This project was centered around a customized deck installation for a residence in San Diego, California. The aim of this project was not only to build an aesthetically pleasing deck but also to design a practical outdoor living space, which would be easy to maintain and endure the diverse Californian weather.

The material of choice for this project was a composite Trex deck in the shade Foggy Wharf. This color was chosen to give the deck a harmonious look, blending seamlessly with the surroundings, and offering a modern touch to the outdoor space.
One of our innovative steps was embedding the deck into the existing concrete to maximize the outdoor area. This provided a level surface, ensuring a smooth transition from the indoors to the outdoors. To complement the deck installation, we also refinished the existing concrete for a polished and cohesive aesthetic.
Customization:
A standout feature of this project was the customized curvature of the deck. We took the challenge head-on and tailored the deck to follow the curve in the concrete, providing a unique design element that added to the overall aesthetic appeal of the space. Living in California can sometimes mean sharing your outdoor space with local wildlife. To keep any unwanted visitors at bay, we utilized a mesh net to block potential access points under the deck. This ensured the integrity of the deck and peace of mind for the homeowners.
